ANNOUNCEMENT: EEA Launches “Beyond Matric” Community Outreach Campaign!

The “Beyond Matric” Community Outreach is an initiative by the Economics Excellence Association (EEA), designed to support Grade 12 learners especially from under-resourced schools and communities in navigating life after high school. The program provides practical assistance with university applications, covers application fees for those in financial need, and prepares learners mentally and emotionally for the transition into adulthood. This outreach reflects EEA’s commitment to economic empowerment through education, by making access to higher learning more achievable and equipping young people with the information, tools, and confidence they need to pursue meaningful futures. Through fundraising, volunteer efforts, and strategic partnerships, the campaign aims to support at least 100 learners

How You Can Get Involved:

Donate: Every rand counts! Your support helps learners apply to university.
Join a Car Wash / Market Day: Fun fundraising with real impact.
Help Us Spread the Word: Share our posts, invite others to contribute.
Volunteer: Be a part of something bigger than yourself.

Outreach Activation Date: 25 July 2025

Fundraising Goal:
Raise enough to support 100 learners by covering their R240 application fee and reaching more schools.
